REUSE FASCISM

After World War II, in which U.S. soldiers fought allegedly to end the reign of Hitler’s Fascism, countries joined together to establish a structure and agreements among nations states to prevent the rise of such a regime in the future.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Charter and the various conventions were agreed to, with hope to put an end to War and uphold the rights of humanity.  But this has been an ongoing struggle (too long to set forth here) and we the people and nations of the world have come up short. But to someone as old as me, who has watched and protested racist wars and imperialism for decades, the decent into a fascistic state here in my own country has never seemed so near and threatening.

So one reason I am running for Attorney General is to offer my willingness to fight to end fascism and to do all in my power to uphold International Humanitarian Law.  I set forth here the Seeds of Fascism. I think you will recognize these traits as increasingly demonstrated in the actions of our government.

While we still can, vote to remove persons who exhibit and are complicit in such conduct and actions.  And use all means in your power to combat these traces of fascism. Speak out!  Identify and call out these actions when you observe them.

Our great song-writer, Woody Guthrie, sang out against Fascism: 

“I’m gunna’ tell you something,

You may be surprised.

The people in this world

Are gettin’ organized.

You’re bound to lose,

All you Fascists bound to lose!”
